Class Refund Policy
Please note: We are a very small business with limited staff, and we do our best to accommodate requests and changes as best we can. If you cannot attend your class and we cannot offer a refund, you are also able to gift your class to someone you know. In this case, please notify us of the name and contact information for the new attendee, and you are responsible for coordinating reimbursement with the new attendee.
EIGHT-WEEK CLASSES, CLAY CURIOUS AND WORKSHOPS: Full refunds for our Eight-Week Classes, Clay Curious Classes and Workshops are offered up to 30 days before the start of class. Up to 14 days before class starts, we can offer either a 90% refund to your card (minus 10% administrative fee), or a full refund to a store gift card only if we can fill your spot off our waitlist. No refunds are offered within 14 days of the class starting.
PRIVATE LESSONS: Deposits are fully refundable for Private Lessons up to 72 hours before the lesson date. Within 72 hours, no refunds are offered for cancellations or reschedules.
EXCEPTIONS: We can no longer guarantee refunds due to COVID-19. If you need to cancel or reschedule within two weeks of your class, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible.
The last day to cancel registration in Summer Kids’ Camps is May 31st. Refunds are subject to a 10% administrative fee (or you can opt to receive your full refund as store credit).
Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather conditions or a power outage may force us to close the studio and/or cancel classes. In these circumstances, we will notify students via email as soon as possible, and we will do our best to reschedule the cancelled classes.
Note for all our classes: we are committed to giving you a fun and fulfilling pottery experience, but not necessarily a physical piece of pottery. Although we hope you'll end up making something you love, it doesn't always work out. Pottery is a dynamic material, and even the most skilled potter has failures coming out of the kiln. Although it is our goal for everyone to have a tangible result at the end of a class or workshop, sometimes there are factors that prevent this from happening: such as kiln mishaps, misplaced or mislabeled pieces, breakage, and communication issues.
Due to space restrictions, we can only hold pottery for one month after it is completed. If you haven't heard from us within one month of the completion of your class or workshop, please get in touch ASAP.
