Since January 2023, Saltstonecessls was purchased by three employees, Samantha Schauer, Jude Mortensen, and Liz Leong. They have worked to foster a community that reflects themselves: Queer, BIPOC, Trans, safe and resilient.

Offering a range of one-day and multi-week classes, Saltstone has options for both experienced potters and those new to clay! The gallery features a regularly rotating stock of handmade goods from both local and international artists with a focus on queer and BIPOC artists in the Seattle area.
